Do I need to apply for a visa to enter the UAE?
Citizens of the following countries will receive a FREE 30-day tourist visa when they arrive at Dubai International Airport:
Andorra, Australia, Argentina, Austria, Bahamas Islands, Barbados, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Brunei, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Canada, China, Denmark, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Honduras, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kiribati, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Maldives, Malta, Malaysia, Montenegro, Mauritius, Monaco, Nauru, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Russian Federation, San Marino, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, San Marino, Serbia, Seychelles, Slovakia, Slovenia, Solomon Islands, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Singapore, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, United States, Uruguay, Vatican City.
If you are not a citizen of one of these countries, you will need to apply for a visa in advance to enter the UAE.

If you are a citizen of Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, or Pakistan, you will need to provide additional information, in a JPG or PNG format, no larger than 100Kb.
If you are a citizen of India (with a passport valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of arrival in the UAE) and hold a US permanent residency or Green Card, you will be able to receive a FREE visa for a maximum of 14 days.
If you are a citizen of Mexico, you are eligible for a multiple entry 180-day tourist visa, valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
Making a visa application
If you need to apply for a visa, please read the information below before making your visa application.
After you submit your visa application, it will be reviewed and, if everything is in order, you will be sent a payment link to pay for your visa.
Your visa will only be registered with the immigration authorities in the UAE after you have provided all the necessary information and made payment.
Payment for your visa is non-refundable and non-transferable.
We recommend you apply for your visa at least 3 to 4 weeks before you plan to travel to the UAE.
The latest deadline to apply for your visa is 2 weeks before travel dates. Visa applications received with less than 2 weeks of travel will be processed only in emergency cases and at a cost of AED 500.00.
After your visa has been issued, you will have 60 days from the date of issue to enter the UAE.
As part of your visa application, you will need to upload your passport, passport photo, and the congress invitation letter in a JPG or PNG format, no larger than 100Kb.
A single entry tourist visa will cost AED 365.00 payable by credit card to Gulf Circle Tours LLC.
It is not possible to extend this single entry tourist visa
Gulf Circle Tours will only accept tourist visa applications for World Physiotherapy Congress 2023 registered participants
Your passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months (180 days) from the date of arrival in the UAE
Tourist visa application fees are not refundable and will be charged, even if the visa is declined or delayed by the immigration authorities in the UAE
Failure to apply for an extension to your tourist visa will incur a fine
The visa application process usually takes 3-4 working days, depending on the immigration authorities in the UAE
Visas are granted or rejected at the discretion of the immigration authorities and national security services in the UAE
If a visitor to the UAE absconds without a trace and appears at a later date for repatriation, they will be required to pay a penalty of AED 7000.00. They will also be required to pay a fine of AED 50.00 per day, to be settled at Dubai International Airport before departure

Dubai immigration procedures
Immigration authorities at Dubai International Airport carry out random eye screening for visitors to Dubai. You may be asked to present a printed copy of your visa or a printed version of your visa number confirmation page at the screening counter. If you do not have a printed copy with you, you may be charged AED 30.00 per copy. This can only be paid in AED.
